Seattle Visit Fall 2009

I took the kids back up to Seattle for a Japanese 49th day - post memorial celebration. My Aunt and Uncles came from Japan. Here are some photos from the visit.

Thanks to Man vs. Food, the kids wanted to eat the 12 egg omelet from Beth's Cafe in Seattle. We didn't even put a dent in it.

Here is my dad's bench. We had a small memorial service and placed his urn in the bench. The Japanese writing is my father's brush writing that he had engraved into the bench. I guess I wasn't supposed to smile for this photo...oops.

We have new baby deer in our family. The pregnant mom was hanging out at our house all summer and then disappeared for a little while. She came back with twins. This has nothing to do with our trip to Seattle, it was just a cute photo.

Here is a photo of my relatives from Japan that came to visit. They are at the Boeing Museum. From left to right. My Uncle who is actually married to the woman in the middle (my mom's sister) and then my Dad's younger brother is on the right. I know, it's a little confusing... I was confused too.

I didn't get any actual photos of the tour. No camera's, cell phones or purses allowed. And no cute little 6 year old boys named Kai who was 2 inches under the height limit allowed on the tour either. Actually I puffed Kai's hair up and he went over the line, but the lady smashed it down when she was measuring. Kai and I spent an hour and a half playing around at the museum while the others went on the tour.
