Football Photos

Here are a couple photo's of Cole in action.

Touch down!

All of the boys are getting so tall and changing so much. It's hard to tell who is who. All of us mom's can't believe how fast the boys grow out of their shoes. Seems like every other month Cole needs a new pair of shoes a size larger. Our little boys are growing up, fast!

Football

Today was the official starting day for flag football and the last weekend for soccer, so we had lots of overlap today (2 soccer games & 2 football games). It sure is fun to watch your kids play sports. Kai decided to try flag football this year. Since Garin was at Gemma's soccer game, I was with the boys at their football games, which just happened to be at the same time. We started off the day trying to fit a mouthpiece into Kai's tiny mouth. No one told me I could cut it. I was trying to shove it in and gagging him. Thanks to Coach Steve who came prepared with scissors, he took care of it for me. I noticed Kai wiping a lot of slobber off of his chin for the first 15 minutes.

This was the fancy double reverse play. Kai ended up scoring three touchdowns. Not bad for his first game.

Cole had seven sacks and two safeties. Cole's team is made up of players from his soccer team. They played against the Ashland Middle School 8th grade tackle football team and beat them 48-18. Maybe the football team should be recruiting soccer players.

This is a little hard to see, but this is one of Cole's sacks that caused a 25 yd loss.

This is one of Cole's safety's. Again...hard to see...sorry.
